Wulian
Wulian ( Chinese 五莲 县 , Pinyin Wǔlián Xiàn ) is a district in the east Chinese province of Shandong . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Rizhao . Wulian has an area of 1,443 km² and a population of 510,000. Its main town is the large community Hongning ( 洪 凝 镇 ).
The Neolithic Dantu site ( 丹 土 遗址 , Dantu yizhi , English Dantu Site ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-11) since 1996 .
