X-CD-Roast was one of the first CD burning software with a graphical user interface on Unix - systems .

X-CD-Roast is a front end for the cdrtools and thus supports both SCSI and IDE CD writers on all current operating systems. Most of the commercially available devices are automatically recognized by X-CD-Roast.
