XPS Viewer

The XPS Viewer is a component of the Windows operating systems that enables documents in the XML Paper Specification Format (XPS) to be viewed , printed and also other documents and websites to be saved as XPS. It is included in Windows Vista , Windows 7 , Windows 8 / 8.1 and can be installed for Windows XP and Windows 10 . It is also possible to add signatures and permissions to the document. The XPS Viewer can be removed from the Control Panel .

Alternatives

The more widely used PDF format offers similar functions, but works independently of the platform . In contrast to the PDF format, the XPS Viewer is pre-installed in the operating systems mentioned above.
