Xavier Pastor i Gracia

Xavier Pastor i Gràcia (* 1950 in Palma ) is a Spanish biologist and conservationist .

Life

He was born on the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca and was one of the co-founders of the environmental protection organization Greenpeace in Spain. From 1985 to 1996 he was President of Greenpeace Spain and then Executive Director until 2001. He was the coordinator of the Proyecto Mediterráneo of Greenpeace International.
