life and work
Xavier Villaverde was born in Galicia . His video Veneno Puro (1984) was shown at documenta 8 in Kassel in 1987 . Xavier Villaverde became known with the films Trece Campanadas / When the bell strikes 13 (2002) and El Sexo de los Ángeles / The Sex of Angels (2012) with Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey , Álvaro Cervantes and Llorenç González.
