Xhaxché
Xhaxché is a small, little-known and not publicly accessible ruin site in the Mexican state of Yucatán on the sacbé , which runs from Kabah via Nohpat to Uxmal. The place is about 3 km northwest of Kabah and was first visited by John Lloyd Stephens and in 1889 by Teobert Maler . Stephens called it sacbey because of the sacbé passing close by . Nicholas Dunning published brief information about the place.
The central group once consisted of three stone buildings with 2 to 4 rooms. Only building 1, which can be assigned to the mosaic style of the Puuc style, is well preserved. Two other buildings belong to the early Puuc style.
