Xiangqiao

The Xiangqiao District ( Chinese  湘桥 区 , Pinyin Xiāngqiáo Qū ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Chaozhou in the easternmost part of the Chinese province of Guangdong . It had an area of ​​176 km² and had about 340,000 inhabitants (2002). On June 28, 2013, the municipalities of Linxi (磷 溪镇), Guantang (官 塘镇) and Tiepu (铁 铺镇) were separated from Chao'an and incorporated into Xiangqiao.
