Xiao Ke

Xiao Ke

Xiao Ke ( 蕭克  /  萧克 , Xiāo Kè ) (born July 14, 1907 in Jiahe County , Hunan; † October 24, 2008 ibid) was a Chinese general. Among other things, he commanded the Sixth Group of the Red Army during the Long March 1934/35. He was awarded the rank of general in 1955. Xiao has also emerged as a writer and editor of military works.
