Xichuan

Xichuan ( Chinese  淅川 县 , Pinyin Xīchuān Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Nanyang in the Chinese province of Henan . In 1999 it had 706,611 inhabitants.

The traditional architecture of Jingziguan (Jingziguan gu jianzhuqun 荆 紫 关 古 建筑 群) and the Xiangyan Temple in Cangfang (Cangfang Xiangyan si 仓房 香 严 寺) from the Tang Dynasty are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
