History of the origin of the name

A little girl named Agnes, whose parents owned a large winery in Kasel, was nicknamed Nies'chen (a belittling of the name Agnes) by the locals. Since the winery daughter had not found a life partner despite her best efforts, the father handed over his vineyards to the daughter in order to increase her chances on the marriage market. A suitable husband was soon found and the couple made love and worked the vineyards together with a lot of ambition. They lovingly tied the fruit rods in their vineyards in a heart shape. From then on, visitors to the vineyards recognized the Nies'chen's vineyards.
