Xin (Xinyang)

Xin ( Chinese 新县 , Pinyin Xīn Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Xinyang in the Chinese province of Henan . It has an area of 1,554 km² and has 340,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Xinji ( 新集镇 ).

The former site of Hubei-Henan-Anhui Revolutionary Base Areas ( E-Yu-Wan geming genjudi jiudi鄂豫皖革命根据地旧址) and the former headquarters of the 25th Army of the Chinese Red Army of Workers and Peasants from 1933 stand up the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China .

Administrative structure

At the community level, Xin consists of five large communities and ten communities . These are:

Greater community Xinji (新集镇), capital, seat of the district government;
Balifan Municipality (八里畈镇);
Greater community Shawo (沙窝镇);
Greater community Suhe (苏河镇);
Großgemeinde Wuchenhe (吴陈河镇);
Chendian Township (陈店乡);
Community Doushanhe (陡山河乡);
Community Guojiahe (郭家河乡);
Community Huwan (浒湾乡);
Jianchanghe Township (箭厂河乡);
Kafang Township (卡房乡);
Community Qianjin (千斤乡);
Sidian municipality (泗店乡);
Community Tianpu (田铺乡);
Zhouhe Township (周河乡).
