Xonox was an American development studio (subsidiary of the recording company K-Tel ) that published plug -in game modules for the Atari 2600 and ColecoVision game consoles and for the Commodore VC 20 and Commodore 64 home computers in the mid-1980s . What was new about these plug-in modules was that they each contained two games that were accessible via two different plugs at the ends (so-called double-enders).

The quality of the games themselves was rather average; some of them were later also sold on simple modules.

Like many smaller computer game companies at the time, Xonox had to file for bankruptcy in the so-called Video Game Crash in 1983 . Before Xonox, the company Playaround also offered modules with two games that were sold as double-enders.
