Xu Can (* 9. March 1994 in Suzhou , China , as 徐灿 ) is a Chinese boxer and current regular WBA world champion in the featherweight (current WBA super champion at that weight class is Léo Santa Cruz ).
Professional career
In 2013 Can successfully made his professional debut, beating fellow countryman Tang Yuan Yuan over 4 rounds on points. In the following year he played a total of four fights, of which he won two and lost two.
In 2017 he competed against Nehomar Cermeño for the international title of the WBA and won early in round 7.
At the end of January 2019, Can boxed against Jesús Rojas for the regular World Championship of the organization WBA. The fight took place at the Toyota Center in Houston . Can beat Rojas by a unanimous decision of the judges and thus became regular world champion of the WBA.
