Yahbalaha IV. Shimun († 1579 in Siirt ) was a patriarch of the Chaldean Catholic Church .

After the death of Patriarch Abdisho IV. Marron , Yahbalaha, Bishop of Gazarta , administered the Catholic-Chaldean patriarchate from 1567. His canonical election took place in 1577. During his brief patriarchy, three other bishops joined the union with Rome, including Mar Shimun IX. Dencha , bishop of the Jelu tribe of Siirt and Salamas, who was elected successor to Yahbalaha's in 1579.
