Yahya Sulaiman Ali Al-Shehri ( Arabic يحيى سليمان علي الشهري Yahyā Sulaimān ʿAlī ash-Shahrī ; * June 26, 1990 in Dammam ) is a Saudi Arabian soccer player . He isunder contractwith Al-Nasr in the Saudi Professional League .
Career
At the age of 16, Al-Shehri was promoted by Al-Ettifaq . In 2010 he rose to the Al-Ettifaq professional team.
In 2013, Al-Shehri moved from Al-Ettifaq to Al-Nasr . He was two Saudi champions and won the Saudi Arabian Cup. In 2018 he switched to the loan deal with Spanish first division club CD Leganés , but did not play any of these games.
National team
On 14th of October. In 2009 he made his debut with the Saudi Arabian national team against Tunisia . In May 2018 he was appointed to the Saudi Arabian squad for the World Cup in summer 2018 . He has been the captain of the national team since October 10, 2019.
