The Yakyū Dendō ( Japanese 野球 殿堂 , literally "baseball palace"), the Japanese baseball hall of fame , is the hall of fame of the greatest Japanese baseball players , managers and umpires as well as personalities who have made services to Japanese baseball.

The associated museum ( 野球 体育 博物館 , yakyū taiiku hakubutsukan , "Baseball Sports Museum", English Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum ) has been located in the Tokyo Dome since 1988 . It was modeled on the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York in 1959 and was originally located next to the Kōrakuen Stadium on the same site that is now the Tokyo Dome.
