Yang (Hanzhong)

Yang ( 洋县 , Yáng Xiàn ) is a district in the prefecture-level city of Hanzhong in the Chinese province of Shaanxi . In 1999 it had 436,320 inhabitants.

The tomb and ancestral temple of Cai Lun (蔡伦 墓 和 祠, Cài Lún mù hé cí ) are located in the district, and the Zhigou temple (智 果 寺, Zhìguǒ sì ) from the time of the Yuan in the greater Xiecun community (谢 村镇) , Ming and Qing dynasty and the yuan -temporal imperial palace Liangmasijue (良马寺觉皇殿, Liángmǎ sìjué huáng diàn ), which together with the Pagoda of Kaiming temple (开明寺塔, Kaiming sì tǎ ) on the list of the monuments of the People's Republic of China .
