The Yanou Lake ( Chinese 燕 鸥 湖 , Pinyin Yàn ōu hú , Tern Lake ') is a small lake on the Fildes Peninsula of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located immediately east of Gaoshan Lake, southeast of the Great Wall Station .
Chinese scholars named it in 1986. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee transcribed this name in 2007 in a transcribed partial translation into English.
