Yantsu

Yantsū ( Japanese 安 三 ) is a kata (karate) from the Kyokushin Kaikan . It stands for the purity of one's own ideals and principles.

Description of the kata

Yantsū is a higher kata from the Shōrei-ryū school. Exactly where it comes from can no longer be determined today. The focus of the kata is on deception and defense techniques. The Yantsū is tested for the 1st Kyū .
