Şengal Resistance Units ( YBS , German resistance units Schingal ) is a Yezidi vigilantes that the terrorist organization in the wake of the summer offensive in 2014 Islamic State (IS) and the crimes committed by their genocide against the Yazidis by the YPG was initiated. During the same period, Qasim Şeşo founded a second vigilante group, the Hêza Parastina Şingal (HPŞ).
Emergence
For the fight against the highly armed IS terrorists, the voluntary Yazidis were trained by experienced commanders of the YPG ; at that time it was known as the Tawisî Melek Brigade (TMB) .
