The Yenko Stinger II is an automobile model that was built from 1971 to 1973 by Yenko Sportscars , Inc. in Canonsburg (Pennsylvania) based on the Chevrolet Vega .
Donald Yenko had already offered the Yenko Stinger based on the Chevrolet Corvair from 1966 .
From 1971 the Vega was also equipped with a smaller four-cylinder engine, which - as in the series - had a displacement of 2512 cm³, but by using a turbocharger instead of the standard 90 bhp (66 kW) it now developed 155 bhp (114 kW). This model was offered until 1973.
