The building is on a junction off Duns Road , the town's main thoroughfare, in the center of Gifford. It has a T-shaped floor plan with a bell tower in front. Its facades are plastered with Harl and painted white. The four-story bell tower rises centrally on the southwest side. It is simply designed with arched windows. A cantilevered parapet with small corner pinnacles hides the base of his slate-covered helmet, which closes with a gold-plated weather vane. At the foot of the bell tower, a simple round arched door with a rose window above leads into the interior of the building. The southwest facade is seven axes wide and designed with arched windows, which can also be found on the other sides of the building.
