Yitha'amar II

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yitha'amar II ( Sabaean yṯʿʾmr Yiṯaʿʾamar) was a ruler ( Mukarrib ) of the ancient South Arabian empire of Saba . Hermann von Wissmann continued his reign around 457 BC. Chr.

Yitha'amar II was co-regent of the presumably older Yada'il II and a little later of the younger Karib'il V and is always mentioned with his co-regents. Nothing is known about the relationships between these three rulers, as they only appear in private inscriptions in which the names of the fathers were usually not mentioned.
