Dedication inscription for Almaqah from Karib'ils and his son's reign

Karib'il V. ( Sabaean krbʾl Karibʾil) was a ruler ( Mukarrib ) of the ancient South Arabian Empire of Saba . Hermann von Wissmann continued his reign around 445 BC. In contrast , Kenneth A. Kitchen identifies him with Karib'il Watar I.

Karib'il V was initially co-regent of the older kings Yada'il II and Yitha'amar II , with whom he is mentioned in numerous private inscriptions from the entire Sabaean empire, but not a single royal inscription. After their death he ruled alone, then together with his son Sumuhu'ali II.
