Interior of the monastery church

The monastery complex was expanded in the 13th and 14th centuries and later changed. The church was consecrated in 1266. It is a three-aisled early Gothic pillar basilica made of brick and stone in a bound system with originally four central nave bays. It has two choir bays and a transept with two chapels. The arcades between the nave and the two side aisles have pointed arches. The original ribbed vault is still partially preserved. The belt arches rest on half-columns or half-pillars and pilasters, the ribs on services. The chalice block capitals are partially decorated with braided ribbon and palmette decorations, some keystones with fine stonemason decoration. The nave was rebuilt in the second half of the 18th century and received new vaults. The vault was painted by the Krakow artist Jan Bukowski in 1919. The church facade was also rebuilt in the late Baroque style in 1779/1780. The winged altar is from 1514, a Renaissance tomb from 1586.

The cloister is to the right of the church.
