Ingvar Harra

Ingvar (Old Icelandic Yngvarr Harra , Latin Yngvar canutus ) was a legendary Swedish king in the late 6th century. He was mentioned in the Historia Norwegiae , the Ynglinga saga and the Ynglingatal .

Ingvar was a son of Östen . He often fought against Vikings on the southeast coast of the Baltic Sea ( Eistland ). Ingvar fell in a battle on the island of Ösel . His son Anund became the new King of Sweden.
