WolveSpirit is a German rock band from Würzburg .

history

In 2009 the brothers Oliver and Richard Eberlein and the American Deborah "Debbie" Craft founded the band WolveSpirit after they had previously played together in various formations. After some demo songs were recorded, the Greek label Sleaszy Rider Records signed the band and released their debut album Spirit Metal in 2011 . Unsatisfied with the cooperation, WolveSpirit canceled the contract with Sleaszy Rider Records in the same year.

WolveSpirit contacted producer Michael Wagener with new demo material , who decided to work with WolveSpirit.

WolveSpirit produced their second album Dreamcatcher in 2012 in their own Spirit Stone Studios , while Michael Wagener took care of the mix. Dreamcatcher was released in 2013 under the Spirit Stone Records label. More and more live appearances followed, especially in Germany with various underground giants and at festivals.

In 2014 Manfred Hertlein discovered the band and hired them as a supporting act for the upcoming Uriah Heep tour in Germany . In the same year drummer Daniel Scholz joined the band and Michael Wagener produced the band's next album at Wire World Studio in Nashville , Tennessee .

In 2015 the album Free was released and made it to a top position in the German independent charts . It was Tip of the Month in Good Times and Special Tip in Break Out Magazine .

During a break from touring, WolveSpirit returned to Nashville in September 2015 to produce the EP Dreamer with Michael Wagener, which was released in December 2015. In 2015 WolveSpirit was again on tour as a special guest with Uriah Heep. In 2016 WolveSpirit went on tour with the Spiritual Beggars. The tour ran through Germany, Belgium and France. In the same year the band traveled to Nashville and produced their album "Blue Eyes" with producer Andrija Tokic (producer of Alabama Shakes) in the Bombshelter studio, which was released in 2017 under the Spirit Stone Records label and in collaboration with Cargo Records. With the release of the album, the official "Blue Eyes" tour through Germany followed in spring 2017. Another trip to Nashville will take place in August 2017. There WolveSpirit recorded the album "Fire and Ice" in the Southern Ground Studio with producer Dave Betchel.

In 2018 Timo Müller joined the band as the new drummer and his brother Philip Müller as bassist. The release of "Fire and Ice" in October 2018 was accompanied by a tour through Germany that ended in December 2018. In 2019 WolveSpirit used a concert break to write new songs. This led to a new production with Dave Betchel at the Southern Ground Studio in Nashville in August 2019. The announcement of an album name and the timing of the release are still pending. In the same year Timo Müller resigned as drummer from the band and Martin Straube, drummer from the band Bonesetter, was officially appointed as the new drummer by WolveSpirit. At the beginning of November 2019 there were talks with the Iron Will management in Cologne. A few months later, WolveSpirit was signed to Iron Will and announced on their site. In the spring of 2020, Marco Tullius finally joined as the new bass player.
