Yoav Sadan dropped out of college and spent a year in London doing demos of his songs on small record companies. After his cousin found producers in the USA , he moved to New York City to play small gigs. During this time, Yoav was influenced more and more by electro , dance and club music. Through this change he also discovered a way to play rhythmic and percussive guitar. In 2006 he moved back to London to continue looking for labels. Ultimately, he signed with Field Recordings . His debut album was released in 2008 and, like the debut single Club Thing , was able to place in the charts in Switzerland and Denmark in particular. In March 2010, Yoav released his second album A Foolproof Escape Plan , but initially only in Canada and Denmark. Yoav was hired to support Katie Melua's European tour for her album The House in spring 2011 .
