Yoav Shamir
Yoav Shamir (* 1970 in Tel Aviv , Israel ) is an Israeli director , documentary filmmaker and film producer .
Life
Shamir graduated from Tel Aviv University with a Bachelor of History and Philosophy. In film he obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA). Since 2001 he has directed various documentaries , some of which have been awarded prizes. Funding for the production of his last documentary 10% -What Makes a Hero? were raised in part via the online crowdfunding website Indiegogo.com . The film was broadcast on August 27, 2013 on the Franco-German television channel arte .
