Yomou is a city in southeast Guinea, near the border with Liberia (15 km) and is also a customs post. Yomou is the capital of a prefecture in the Nzérékoré region with 30,000 inhabitants (2010) and the location of a well-known special forces battalion of the Guinean army.

The city's inhabitants belong to the group of Kpelle and Mano. Yomou is also the main transshipment point for raw materials such as rice, palm oil, coffee and cassava.
