King Yōng Jǐ ( Chinese 雍 己 ) ruled as the eighth or ninth king of the Shang dynasty for 12 years (based on the record in the historical work Zhushu Jinian ), probably in the 17th century BC. Over China . He was the younger brother of King Xiao Jia . During his era, the capital was Bó . The Shang dynasty gradually began to fall apart under this ruler. The liege princes no longer came to his audience.
