Yordan Alain Hernández Morejón (* 12. March 1996 ) is a Cuban amateur boxer in the heavyweight division .
Career
Hernández took 18-year-old in 2014 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia at the World Junior Championships , which took place from 14 to 24 April, in part and won the gold medal . He won all his fights there with 3-0 judges' votes. His opponents were the Uzbek Rakhmatulla Gofurov, the Russian Andrey Shokov, the Irish Michael Gallagher, the Ukrainian Robert Marton and the Croatian Toni Filipi .
At the Youth Olympic Games , in the Chinese city of Nanjing were also held in 2014 from 23 to 27 August, Hernández took also part and won with point wins over Robert Marton, Michael Gallagher and Toni Filipi turn a gold medal. As in the World Youth Championships three months earlier, Hernández beat his opponents Marton and Gallagher 3-0 each. Against Filipi, who was again his opponent in the final, he could only just prevail this time with 2: 1 votes.
