Yoseikan is a 1931 by Minoru Mochizuki founded Japanese martial arts style , which the pre-war - Aiki Budo of Aikido -Begründers Ueshiba Morihei to elements of Judo , Karate , Jujutsu and Kenjutsu expanded.

history

Mochizuki was a direct student of both Judo founder Kanō Jigorō and Ueshiba Morihei. The Yoseikan style includes various standing throwing and levering techniques as well as floor techniques. In addition, there are kicks and fists, block techniques and liberation techniques. Weapon techniques with sword, stick and knife are also practiced.

Yoseikan Budo is a martial art that is well adapted to today's modern times. Yoseikan Budo consists of self-defense , kickboxing , weapon art and fitness . This martial art teaches children, as well as women and men, to defend themselves from attacks through targeted self-defense.

The training of discipline, concentration and reaction of body and mind as well as mental training are part of Yoseikan Budo. Yoseikan Budo combines elements of fistfist fighting (kickboxing / karate / boxing ), throwing (judo), weapon fighting ( kendo ), self-defense (Aikido / Krav Maga ) and fitness into one discipline.

In addition to Japan, Yoseikan and Yoseikan Budō are now particularly common in the USA , Canada , France , Italy and Switzerland , but there is also a Dōjō in Germany .
