Yoshio Ninomine ( Japanese ニ 峰 良 四郎 , Ninomine Yoshio ; born July 2, 1942 in Hokkaido Prefecture ) is a former Japanese biathlete .
Yoshio Ninomine was employed in the ground self-defense forces during his active time, as did most of the Japanese biathletes after him , and also competed internationally for them. His greatest international success was his participation in the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck . He was the first Japanese to compete in an Olympic biathlon competition. With an average running time and only three shooting errors, he reached 26th place in the end, placing himself in the middle of the competition.
