Yoshiyuki Kobayashi ( Japanese 小林 慶 行 , Kobayashi Yoshiyuki ; born January 27, 1978 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kobayashi learned to play soccer on the Toin Gakuen High School school team and the Komazawa University college team . He signed his first contract in 1999 with the Verdy Kawasaki (today: Tokyo Verdy). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2004 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club, he completed 156 first division games. In 2005 he moved to league rivals Omiya Ardija . For the club he completed 91 first division games. In June 2009 he moved to league rivals Kashiwa Reysol . In 2010 he moved to league rivals Albirex Niigata . For the club, he completed 53 top division games. At the end of 2012 he ended his career as a football player.
