biography

Nitta made her debut as a professional illustrator in 1995 with the short story Groupie . In the following time she drew for manga magazines such as Reijin , Be × Boy and Hanaoto . From 1997 to 2006 she brought out the series When A Man Loves A Man , which is published in German by Carlsen Verlag .

From 1998 she drew on the manga series Haru o Daiteita for Biblos publishing house. The manga, which comprises over 2,200 pages in 14 volumes, was also translated into English as Embracing Love and implemented in 2005 as a two-part original video animation . It is about two male rival porn actors who want to withdraw from the business, but first shoot one last film and with this make the breakthrough and the leap into the feature film industry. The two fall in love; their relationship is now the focus of the manga.

Nitta, who is also known for erotic dōjinshi to popular mangas such as Slam Dunk , currently lives in Tokyo . In 2002 she was present at the Yaoi-Con in San Francisco.

In June 2008, she was accused by readers of having copied several scenes of her manga from photos in fashion magazines and from advertisements, which was confirmed shortly afterwards by her and the publisher Libre Shuppan . On July 15, she finally announced on her website that she would henceforth turn away from drawing comics. Thus was Haru o Daiteita set, but 2012 Haru o Daiteita Alive resumed.
