Young Democrats of America
The Young Democrats of America (YDA) are the youth organization of the Democratic Party in the United States .
The Washington, DC- based organization was founded in 1932 as the party's official youth organization. Since 2002 they have been formally independently registered as a 527 group . Its members are Democrats under 36 years of age.
The YDA are a member of the International Federation of Liberal Youth and a partner organization of the FDP youth association Young Liberals .
