Young Soldierz was an American rap - crew consisting of some members of the hip-hop groups Damu Rida and Nationwide Rip Ridaz . Both rap groups have their origins in the Bloods & Crips gangs. They were signed to Dangerous Records and Death Row Records .

history

The Young Soldierz came together during the Bangin 'on Wax project of the groups "Bloods & Crips". With the success of the group, the individual members Big Wy, Dog, Pops and Lil 'Stretch formed for the release of the album Young Soldierz . It was released in 1994. Among other things, the singles If Tomorrow Comes and Alligator were very successful.

Follow-up time

The members continued to produce music for the "Bloods & Crips" project. Its continuation of the debut album Bangin 'on Wax 2… The Saga Continues was released on September 12, 1994. In the same year they met Suge Knight , the co-founder of Death Row Records and signed a recording contract. The band broke up in 1998. The remaining members Big Wy and Dog (now Suga Buga) later recorded the album How Deep Is Your Hood with the Damu Ridas group. Then they formed the rap crew The Relativez .
