Nationwide Rip Ridaz
The Nationwide Rip Ridaz were an American hip hop group ( Gangsta Rap , G-Funk , West Coast Rap ) that consisted of a collection of Crip Gang members from Compton, South Los Angeles , Los Angeles and Watts, California.
history
They are best known for working with Blood Gang members , who have been waging gang war on the streets for decades. The project started with the album Bangin On Wax. The goal was to "battle" yourself in the studio and not kill yourself on the streets. Bangin On Wax 2 was released a year later. Then the Bloods and Crips split into two groups. The Bloods went to the Damu Ridas and the Crips to the Nationwide Rip Ridaz. Both groups released a total of four albums (two albums each) and two compilations from previous albums.
Because of their gang activity, many of the members became victims of gang warfare and clashes with the law enforcement agency , such as AWOL, who was killed by the LAPD in 1997 , or Big Freeze, who also died in 1997. Fo 'Clipse, the group's singer, fell victim to a hostile gang. Many of the members still live in their respective "Hoods" and appeared on the album "Rep yo Set", where you should represent your "Hood".
