Youyi Bridge

The Youyi Bridge ( Chinese : 友誼 橋, translated: Bridge of Friendship) is a bridge in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa . The bridge is part of the Karakoram Highway , which connects Pakistan with China . The bridge was built from 1966 to 1978 and spans the Indus . In 2004 the bridge was renamed to its current name in memory of the workers who died in the construction of the bridge.
