Ytrehovdeholmen

Ytrehovdeholmen (translated from Norwegian, Outer Hill Island ) is an island off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the largest of a group of four islands and is located 6 km west of the Langhovde group of hills in the eastern part of the Lützow-Holm Bay .

Norwegian cartographers, who named them after their geographical location within the islands adjacent to the Langhovde hill group, mapped them using aerial photographs from the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
