Yumi Tōmei ( Japanese 東 明 有 美 , Tōmei Yumi ; born June 1, 1972 in Gifu ) is a former Japanese soccer player .

Career

She started her career at Iga FC Kunoichi , where she played from 1988 to 2000. She contributed to winning the Nihon Joshi Soccer League in 1995 and 1999 . In 2000 she ended her playing career.

National team

Tōmei was appointed to the squad of the Japanese national team in 1993 and was used at the Asian Women's Cup in 1993 . She was named to the squad for the 1995 , 1999 Women's World Cup and 1996 Summer Olympics . She played a total of 43 international matches for Japan.
