Yumo Mikyö Dorje ( Tib. Yu mo mi bskyod rdo rje ; * 12th century ) was an important Kalachakra -Master and Shentong ( gzhan stong )-author, a gauge of emptiness (Shunyata). He is considered to be the founder of the Jonang tradition ( jo nang pa ) of Tibetan Buddhism and was a lineage holder of the Jonangpa Kalachakra lineage . He was a student of the Kashmiri Pandit Somanātha .
His main student Dharmeshvara or Chokyi Wangchuk ( chos kyi dbang phyug ) led the lineage continues.
Also Künpang Thugje Tsöndrü ( kun spangs thugs RJE brtson 'grus ; 1243-1313), the founder of Jonang convent , belonged to this transmission line.
