Yves Dreyfus
Yves Dreyfus (born May 17, 1931 in Clermont-Ferrand ) is a former French sword fencer of Jewish descent.
He won the bronze medal at the 1962 World Fencing Championships and the silver medal in the individual competition at the 1963 World Championships . In the team competition he was world champion in 1962 , 1965 and 1966 . In 1961 , 1963 and 1967 he won silver, in 1954 there was bronze in the team. At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 Dreyfus achieved the bronze medal in the team and was able to repeat this in Tokyo in 1964 . At the Maccabiade in Israel in 1961 , he won the gold medal in singles. In 1977 Dreyfus won gold there in the individual and team rankings.
