Yves Mattagne

Yves Mattagne (born March 2, 1963 in Etterbeek ) is a Belgian chef.

Career

Mattagne first worked at the Hilton Hotel in Brussels, then at Gatwick Airport , then again in Belgium at the L'Orangerie with Michel Beyls. Then he moved to Paris for eight months at Jacques Le Divellec's restaurant.

In January 1990 he opened the Sea Grill restaurant . In 1991 he received the first Michelin star, in 1997 the second. The restaurant specializes in fish and seafood. In 2005 Mattagne supported Christian Lohse in the start-up phase of the Berlin fish restaurant Fischers Fritz .

In July 2010 Mattagne took over the restaurant and the employees from the former operator SAS Group .

The Homard à la Presse court received public attention . He also runs the Atelier Mattagne cooking studio , where he offers cooking and wine courses.
