The Zélée Rocks are a group of four low cliffs , some of which are washed over by the sea, off the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located 17 miles north of Prime Head .
Participants in the Third French Antarctic Expedition (1837-1840) under the direction of polar explorer Jules Dumont d'Urville discovered and named them. It is named after the expedition ship Zélée .
