Zyllnhardt (noble family)
The Zyllnhardt family (also Züllenhard and other spellings) was a Franconian - Swabian knight family based in the knightly canton of Odenwald .
history
The eponymous headquarters of the family is said to have been Zillenhart Castle in the former Göppingen office. The family performed in Swabia and Bavaria. Johann Friedrich von Zyllnhardt was a captain of the Electorate of the Palatinate and commandant of the Dilsberg fortress . He married Anna Juliana Freiin von Bettendorff from Gauangelloch and thus came into possession of goods in Gauangelloch and Mauer . The other property also included shelters and parts of rams , with which the family had already been enfeoffed in the 15th century and where a family castle was built around 1700 on the site of today's Widdern town hall . Johann Friedrich's son Karl von Zyllnhardt (1744-1816) was head of the Bavarian General Forest Administration, whose son of the same name Karl von Zyllnhardt (1779-1828) held high state offices in Baden, but left behind only one daughter from two marriages, who joined in 1826 Karl Göler von Ravensburg married, whereby the Zyllnhardt property that had not been confiscated from the feudal lords fell to the Göler von Ravensburg after the death of Karl von Zyllnhardt in 1828 .
