Zwcad is a CAD program developed by ZWSOFT , with its full name Zwcad Software Co., Ltd. in Guangzhou, China. The company was founded in 1998, the Zwcad program has been on the market in China since 2002 and has been sold internationally since 2004.
Zwcad has also been available in German since 2009; Zwcad is now available in 15 languages.
The user interface and operation of Zwcad are largely identical to known programs such as AutoCAD . Zwcad is DWG compatible, 2D drawings and 3D drawings (surface and solid modeling ) can be created. File formats are: DWG / DXF (R14-2013), DWT, SAT, BMP, WMF, PDF. The Zwcad program offers functionalities such as dynamic blocks, tool palettes (libraries), DesignCenter, properties palette, Smart Voice, Smart Mouse, synchronization with smartphones and tablets via cloud storage, CUI, APIs (LISP, VBA, ZRX, .NET).
Zwcad is also offered as Zwcad Mechanical and Zwcad Architecture for industry-specific solutions.
