Zaturn ( Japanese ザ タ ー ン , Zatān ) was a roller coaster at the Space World theme park in the Yahatahigashi district of Kitakyūshū in Fukuoka Prefecture in southern Japan .

She was a Launched - steel coaster on the model Accelerator Coaster the manufacturer Intamin , which opened on April 29 of 2006. It was closed on December 31, 2017. It is scheduled to reopen in 2020 in the Russian Golden City .

The 400 m long route reached a height of 63 m and had a 60 m high first drop with a gradient of 88.9 °. The trains were accelerated from 0 to 129 km / h in 2.3 seconds using a hydraulic catapult system.

Each train had five cars. Four people (two rows of two people) could sit in each car. Shoulder straps were used as a restraint system.
