Zbigniew Stefan Górny (born March 6, 1948 in Posen ) is a Polish composer and conductor.

Górny attended the music high school until 1968, studied music education at the Poznan Music Academy until 1973 and then conducting for two years. Since 1970 he has worked on programs at the Tey cabaret . In 1973 he became music director of Estrada Poznańska and Teatr Nowy . From 1976 to 1991 he was director and conductor of the PRiTV orchestra in Poznan. Since then he has directed his own Górny Orchestra and Górny Productions .

In addition to instrumental pieces and over two hundred songs, Górny composed numerous music for the theater as well as the score for almost all of Wojciech Wójcik's films , Janusz Kidawa's Magiczne ognie and Andrzej Wajda's The Ring with the Crowned Eagle ( Pierscionek z orlem w koronie ). He was the author and co-author of the program Gala Piosenki Biesiadnej , which was produced on TVP2 in 1995 and which was continued several times due to its success, as well as the series Co nam w duszy gra? Which was also launched on TVP2 in the late 1990s . He was also the source of ideas for programs such as Jubileusz Tercetu czyli Kwartetu , Nieznany życiorys Jacka Wójcickiego , Śpiewnik Polaka and the Imiennik Dwójki series . He was awarded the Golden Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland , the badges of honor of the cities of Posen, Opole and Konin and the Ad Perpetuam Rei Memoriam medal.
